Strategic Social Media Management

Kansas 4-H Foundation

Beginning in August 2015, I was hired on to the Kansas 4-H Foundation team as their Social Media Manager Intern. The Foundation had little next to none social presence when I took control. I have created and controlled their Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram handles. In conjunction to their Emerald Circle banquet where annual scholarships are awarded to Kansas 4-H's youth, I worked in part to promote the theme - #BeYou before, during and after the event. I encourage you to visit their website to learn more about the Foundation itself.

While I was the social media manager at C|O, I controlled all of their social media channels. Their total social community amounted to over 9,000 users. I created Facebook posts, participated in Twitter chats, coordinated Instagram Takeovers and contributed articles to their blog, the State of the Plate.

DLCC Ranch | Social Media Management

Beginning in August 2015, I became an administer of the DLCC Facebook page. My efforts are to focus on developing their digital presence as well as working to connect with other seedstock producers. Their social media presence highlights their success stories, current news, and featuring future offerings. The DLCC Ranch is located in northern Minnesota and highlights their annual spring bull sale, in the last weekend of April.
